I noticed this on the DVC planning board and it made me wonder:

"Our latest innovation, Disney's Magical Express, provides Disney Vacation Club Members and their guests with a complimentary travel benefit available at select Disney Resorts during the Happiest Celebration On Earth."

Does this mean that the "complimentary" part will be ending after the Celebration does?

No one knows for sure. They have extended the "Magical Express" contract with the airport for 5 years. As to whether it remains free is anyones guess right now. I do know it would be hard to charge much for it if folks are used to getting it free, and Disney has had an increase in tourism, whereas other parks saw a decrease. Whether that is worth it to corporate to continue it as a free service is the question.

When the 5-year extension of Magical Express was announced, a Disney spokesperson was quoted in the press as saying there were "no plans" to start charging for the service.

That's good to hear. Did you know that you can use it one-way? My family lives in Central Florida so I usually stay part of my vacations at their house. In November I'm taking the Express back to OIA and in December I'm taking it to SSR. That's why I was wondering about a charge.

Hope it remains at no costs.
