Is Magical Express still picking up from resorts approximately 3 hours prior to flight time for domestic flights? I'm debating making a breakfast reservation on departure day. I have a 2pm flight, so I'm thinking that DME will pick me up somewhere around 11am. Does this sound right?

Yes, 11 a.m. sounds right. About 3 weeks ago, we had to be at DME stop 3 hrs, 15 minutes prior to departure. Stopped at 3 resorts (on the way in from MCO, it was 4 resorts).

yes and it is one of the 2 reasons we stopped using it.

the other is sitting at mco for 45-60 minutes every time waiting for a bus to fill up.

we are seasoned travelers, we can get from the plane to the bus with only carry on bags in under 10 mins. but always have to wait an extra 45-60 mins for slow people on our same plane to make it to the bus. My time is worth more the the money it takes to rent a car to be driven 12 miles to and 12 miles from mco bookend out trip.

You will be given a pick up time that will be approximately 3 hours before your domestic flight. You will be expected to be out at the bus stop 15 minutes early.
Yes, busses sometimes leave a few minutes early and they do not wait for anyone.

We used it a few weeks ago and our pick up time was 3 hrs 15 minutes in advance because we had to stop at another resort to pick up more guests. It took slightly longer since there is no RAC, and the driver had to load everyone's luggage under the bus. But the lost time there was made up by the very short lines at the airport.

I would also add that while social distancing was great on DME upon arrival, departure was a different story. The driver made no mention of asking guests to space themselves and there was no assigned seating on the way back like there was on the way to the resort. The bus was only half full so there was ample room to spread out, but people still mostly congregated in the front of the bus.
