Magical Express Pick Up Time

Hi! My husband and I have been to Disney several times, but this trip will be our first staying on property We will be using the Magical Express, but are thinking about renting a car for a few hours to pick up some groceries and stop by the Premium outlets and then returning to MCO to use ride the Magical Express to Allstar Sports. We found a rental car for $17 (including taxes and fees) for a 1 day rental, which is less than I would guess we would pay for a taxi to the outlets and grocery store, and I don't think we will leave the Disney property once we get there. So I am wondering if we can take the Magical Express when we return the rental car, or if we have to board as soon as we get off of our flight. Thanks!

Not a problem at all, but you might consider looking at dropping the car closer to Disney. Most/all of the major rental agencies have locations much closer- the car care center (which will transport you to Sports), the dolphin (have a snack @ the boardwalk- walk to DHS and bus to Sports) or drop around DTD. Additional suggestion: drop anything you buy from the outlet @ Sports before dropping off the car- you could even check in and put the stuff in your room. No charge for parking. And a lot easier than hauling things from the rental counter back to ME.
