Hello

I am having a debate with my travel partner on if there are many problems using Magical Express back to the airport.

We are meeting in Orlando the day before our resort ressies start, so will only need Magical Express going home. She tried to use them last May when they started, and had a bad experience.

So my question, have you had problems with them lately? Like not showing up. She thought one ways had the most trouble.

I am very cheap, and don't want to pay for a taxi, car service. I want to use Magical Express for the price, FREE :teeth:

What is your experience with them?

Thanks :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes ,

I used Magic Express in January after the marathon to return to the airport with no problem. They told me to be at the pick up spot at SSR at a certain time and they were there. No delays at all. Good experience one way for me.

If you are going to Disney on or after check in day you can still use Magical Express even if you arrived somewhat before.Make the reservation the usual 10 days or more in advance. Have in mind a flight on any airline arriving at about the time you want to travel to Disney in case the ME person on the phone needs a flight number to complete the reservation.

One way ME trips are a no-brainer. For going home you need to make a reservation at least a day before you check out.

There have been rare instances of buses not showing up but all you need to do is promptly tell the person at the ME desk or a resort manager (not the baggage check in agent). You may have to press them but they ought to get you on your way in half an hour tops.

All the other services have their share of late drivers.

I've done RT in Sept and one way in March. both no problems. My DH and DD also did a separate one way in March and theirs showed up on time too...

I used DME just for my return to MCO last Dec. No problem at all. Just be sure to make a reservation so they know you'll be there.

Unfortunately not always true. My friend started out at the appointed time (although the ME info was not delivered to the room untul the day after she left!). When the bus didn't show we went to the bus within a reasonable time. They called several time, we spoke with a manager, but the bus was a no show. It was getting late, so a friend who was not leaving that day (and had a car) insisted on driving her to the airport (she had offered rather than using ME at all, but other friend wanted to try ME). Disney offered no help or alternative.

Glad things have improved!
