I'm pretty sure we get 1 per person. We only ever have 1 bag per person and can't remember having extra, but I could be wrong. You can call and ask for more.

Its just me and my husband so I guess we just get one bag each... I was gonna have three..

You can call for more and if you don't have time, You can still use the bag service. We often travel with five bags for four people (therefore four ME tags)

I Xeroxed a tag and taped it onto my bag one time. They replaced it with their official one before delivering it to me.

Another time, I didn't tag the one extra bag but I gave my airport luggage receipt to the ME counter and they found and delivered my bag.

No worries. No need to change your packing strategy.

Even if you didn’t have time, they have this covered. It should say in the accompanying letter, and it’s explained in the sticky thread on the transportation forum here, but you can just stop by the desk at the airport and hand over your airline luggage tags and describe bags. They’ll get them from the carousel and send them on to the resort so you don’t have to lug them.

I know I know I aways pack too much our trip is 9 days.. I'll try to get it all in two..lol
Thats A LOT of luggage for a couple with no kids. Lol. Definitely try to pack light. Remember there is laundry machines onsite. Believe it or not i've been on 8-9 day trips with my son, and we've each come with a CARRY ON! No joke. I'd just do laundry while swimming mid-trip. It was great!

I hate to do laundry on vacation feel like I'm missing out on something.. LOL:laundy::laundy:

Just a word of advice to be watchful when checking your luggage at your local airport. One time when we were living in AZ, we were checking into the Phoenix airport, (forget which airline), but the lady at the counter began putting the Orlando tags on the first bag and tore off our yellow Disney tag. I assume she thought they were just left from a previous trip, but yikes! As luck would have it, I had a spare one.

Call for more.
DITTO - 1 tag per person is the new normal.

...and a word of advice? If you have the time, re-enforce the "bend area" of your tags with CLEAR Packing tape. After that? Those tags pretty much need to be CUT off.

This really slows down the Airline Monkeys that like to tear off stuff, by accident or on purpose :).

Defintely call for more if needed. We've done it more than once in the past.

Oh, not at all. I get all twitchy inside thinking about trying to decide what I'm wearing each day and not taking spare outfits. And ain't no laundry being done on MY vacations. No way, no how. Laundry and vacation do not go in the same vicinity. LOL
If it's not winter I can usually get by with just my 1 full size carry on and hopefully keep it under 50 lbs, if DH lets me put my make up in his bag LOL
Winter, with needing layers, I have to bring 2 bags for sure. But that's because I have to have 2 outfits for each day plus spares so I can have options each day ;) It's the only way I can function

LOL all our airports are very familiar with the yellow tags. They always have conversations with us about where we are staying on our trips. But we are much closer to WDW than AZ so I'm sure that's why

Last time we asked, it was one luggage tag per magic band is what they send. But like others have said, you can call and request more.

ha ha, i guess its just me then. Its so easy to do laundry while you swim though. :) You don't even notice your doing laundry. ha ha. Sometimes I took it a step further and washed everything before we flew home. That way i can unpack clean clothes at home and be done with it.

Now that i normally go to Disney solo though, I skip the laundry since its just me. ;)

This is not the first time I have read a report about an airline associate removing ME tags.

And every time I read about it I think That’s crazy!

Even up here in the Great White North, if you’re queued up in the international to Orlando line of any airline the assumption is you’re heading to WDW. How can an employee not recognize bright yellow Mickey Mouse head tags at this point? This program is 10+ years old now.
