Magical Express/Luggage question

If we were to fly down the night before and stay at a holiday inn(I have free points) and then take the shuttle back to the airport, do I have to cart my luggage the whole time(i know i will have to take it to the airport hotel) but the morning we head to wdw or can I 'check' the luggage at magical express desk to be delivered to the hotel ?? With the southwest and airtran merger, southwest has no morning flights out of PIT and it would cost more to fly airtran with bags and all.

There is no way to "check" bags for DME at the airport. You'll need to take the bags to the DME Welcome Center and the bus. They will be loaded under the bus and arrive at the resort with you. You can then take them to or have them brought to your room after check in, if the room is ready, or store them with Bell/Luggage Services until the room is ready and/or when you get back to the resort for the day.
