Actually I was responding to the question about whether the service is going to continue. You are correct that there has been no determination made as to whether, or how, guests would be charged for the service. I should have rephrased my answer. Thanks for the save, Horace I did edit the original answer to avoid any confusion.

The 18-month "Happiest Celebration on Earth" began on May 5, 2005. I've never seen an official end date, but 18 months would be early November 2006. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" is extended to January 2007, just as the 18-month Walt Disney World 25th anniversary celebration ("Remember the Magic") was extended to January 1998.
As noted earlier, Magical Express is free at least through the end of the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" and if you ask Magical Express Guest Services, they'll tell you it's free until further notice.
