take to get to your disney resort after boarding the bus? i'm staying at the CBR.

More importantly, how many hours b4 your scheduled flight do you leave from your hotel back to the airport.


I have a 3:30pm flight wondering if i could hit a park in the am???

Oct 05 took 50 mins fromtouch down to POP check-in

Flight home they picked us up 3 hrs before and it was good timing IMO

For your return trip to the airport, your DME bus will pick you up between 2.75 and 3 hours before your flight. You need to be at the pickup spot ten or fifteen minutes early. For a 3:30 flight, you should expect to be waiting at 12:15.

My plane lands at 7:21 AM. Is it reasonable to plan on being at Poly between 8:30 and 9:00 AM? The rest of my party is driving so I am trying to figure out when to tell them to arrive so neither one of us has to wait arround to long for the other.

I've seen lots of reports where people have been at their resort just 1.5 hours after touch down, but that wasn't the case for us. We landed at MCO at 4:20 and didn't arrive at our CBR room until 7:15. Just so people know, sometimes it takes longer. And we were the first resort dropped off too, so that was airport waiting for the most part.

It is likely but not definite. First of all, let's assume your flight is on time (never a safe assumption these days!).

After the flight lands you will have to:

--Let all the people in front of you off the plane first

--Walk to the tram which takes you to the main baggage claim/ground transportation area.

--Ride the tram.

--Get off the tram and walk to the DME area.

--Wait in line to get your voucher stamped.

--Wait in another line to board the bus.

--Wait while the bags are loaded into the bus.

--Possibly stop at another hotel or hotels first.

Again, you SHOULD be there by 9, but it's not a sure thing.

Just so people know, sometimes it takes longer.

That's good advice: Most of the time it'll take no time at all, but be prepared that sometimes that won't be the case.

The average time it takes to get from your plane to your resort via DME is about 70 minutes...sometimes a bit longer. For pick-up for your departure to MCO from your resort, you should plan on between 2 1/2 and 3 hrs. before your flight. So, if you have a 3:00 flight, plan on being at the bus stop at noon.
