Magical Express-Hadn't heard this one before !

I just called MS to arrange Magical Express for my son and his bride for October. The cm asked me to call back closer to the actual date. She said that the luggage tags are not mailed out until 21 days before and they did not really want to have me have to deal with airline schedule changes. Since I have heard a lot about how long it takes to get the luggage tags and tags that don't arrive, does this seem like a good idea? Anybody else get the same sugggestion from MS?

Try making your Magical #xpress reservation about 40 to 30 days in advance. There is no such thing as "sold out" for ME so long as you make reservations by the deadline. If the airline changes its schedule on you you do not need any more notice to change your ME ressie to match, that could even be done one day in advance.

I booked DME back in March for our late June trip. I had to make several calls back to them as my flight details changed about 3 times!!! I'm going back in late Nov and I think I'll be calling DME to book in late Sept, early Oct.

I made reservations for our arrival on September 15 about a week ago. The airlines changed my flights arrival time by about 5 minutes right after that. I doubt that will affect anything at all though. Changing things like the flight numbers or changing arrival by hours I think would affect DME baggage.
