Hello! Yup, first visit as a family! Our group includes my husband, me and our twin boys who will just have turned 8. One son has cerebral palsy and uses a walker, and w/c for long distances...so we'll have both with us. Also, we are from Canada and will be flying Air Canada. We are staying at the Grand Floridian.

Do you recommend using Magical Express? I am concerned about wait times, having the walker AND the w/c, the patience (or lack thereof) of excited boys, having many stops along the way etc.

Any thoughts would be welcome!

From most reports I have seen GF is a first stop resort. So it shouldn't be a problem.

Each bus makes a MAXIMUM of four stops, each taking maybe five minutes (for that resort's passengers to get off the bus and for the driver to pull any luggage, etc that was brought to the bus - such as carry-ons too large to fit under the seat, strollers, your son's wheelchair...) The buses play introduction to WDW videos and/or Disney cartoons for entertainment.
The average estimated time from getting off the plane to getting off the bus at one's resort is 60 to 90 minutes, usually in the 70 minute range.
While GF may well be the first stop on that bus, it may not be - there's no "set" routing. It's done by need.

Honestly, renting a car or using a town car or taxi service will take you about the same amount of time, since you'd have to wait for your luggage - and if your kids are impatient/excited to get to Disney World, they're not going to have a lot of fun hanging around the baggage carousel.
