I have kind of a complicated situation (at least it feels complicated to me - I know you all probably have a simple answer! :teeth: )

I am going to be in the Disney World area for four weeks, but family are flying in to join me for short periods of time during the trip. I'd like to use Magical Express as much as possible for the various groups, so am wondering:

1) I arrive for 10 days, staying off-site (for a convention). Then I move to Disney resorts. Can I use Magical Express just to return to the airport?

2) While I am onsite, I am using a castmember discount. That doesn't matter for use of Magical Express, right, as long as I am onsite?

3) My nephew is flying in for half the trip. He and I fly home together. I assume, since he is always staying onsite, he can use Magical Express both ways, right?

4) My sister is flying my nephew in to meet me for his trip. She will only be staying in my room for 3 nights. She also can use Magical Express both ways, right?

5) How do I make reservations for all these different arrival and departure times?

6) Off-topic, but related: Will Disney allow me to have four people in a deluxe resort at no extra fee? I signed up for just three (my daughter, my nephew, and I) - then I found out my sister was going to fly my 12-year-old nephew in, so he didn't have to fly unaccompanied.

7) Related to the above topic: Do I need to add her to my reservations for just those three nights she will be in my room, so that she can use Magical Express???

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. It feels like so much to figure out! :confused3

Yes. Just arrange the return trip only.

2) While I am onsite, I am using a castmember discount. That doesn't matter for use of Magical Express, right, as long as I am onsite?

Sorry, I don't know.

3) My nephew is flying in for half the trip. He and I fly home together. I assume, since he is always staying onsite, he can use Magical Express both ways, right?

As long as he is listed on your reservation.

4) My sister is flying my nephew in to meet me for his trip. She will only be staying in my room for 3 nights. She also can use Magical Express both ways, right?

Again-as long as she is listed on your reservation.

5) How do I make reservations for all these different arrival and departure times?

Through disney if you booked with them. You could also call Magical Express to book it.

As long as only two of you are adults there shouldn't be an extra fee.

7) Related to the above topic: Do I need to add her to my reservations for just those three nights she will be in my room, so that she can use Magical Express???

Yes you will need to list her on the reservation.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. It feels like so much to figure out! :confused3

Your are welcome :)

Thanks so much, Debbie, for all your replies.

Does anyone else know the answers to those questions of which Debbie wasn't sure?

:cool1:

Using a castmember discount (or any kind of discount, for that matter) will not affect your ability to use DME. If you are staying in a Disney hotel, you (and all your guests) are free to use it. If you call Disney, you can straighten out all the complicated parts.
