Hi Everyone,

Has anyone taken the Magical Express to the Crescent Lake properties recently? I will be going to the Boardwalk Inn in a few short months and was curious about the sequence of Boardwalk, Yacht, and Beach were dropped off. Thanks in advance for the information.

BTW - I was very tossed up between the BWI and BC (never stayed at either) but we do not use the pools extensively so I went BWI. Any thoughts there would be welcomed as well.

I don't think it works that way. Magical Express could stop at any resort before or after Boardwalk. Could be 2 or three other resorts "assigned" to your bus, but it could be any of them.

Both resorts are wonderful, the kicker for us is SB at BC for our tweener daughters. Otherwise if it was just us adults Boardwalk would be awesome with the dining and night activities.

I recall stopping only at Caribbean Beach Resort when taking DME to BoardWalk two or three times. I don't know if the same DME motorcoach was also going to Beach Club or Yacht Club.

DME routes are flexible. Although DME coaches tend to serve resorts in the same geographic area, the departures from the airport and resort groupings are based on actual demand. So your experience may be different than mine.

I'm a big fan of Disney's BoardWalk. I like the BoardWalk itself, with a nice selection of restaurants. There's street entertainment in the evening.

Walking from BoardWalk to Epcot and DHS is pleasant.

Beach Club is closer to Epcot, but further to DHS. Beach Club has Stormalong Bay, but you already wrote that you "do not use the pools extensively."

I avoid the Friendship Boats to Epcot and DHS from Beach Club and BoardWalk. They're infrequent and they take a long time. It seems I can always beat them on foot.

The walk around Crescent Lake is great, regardless of which Crescent Lake resort you stay at. The Swan & Dolphin are good dining destinations too.

Thanks so much for the insight. I usually stay around the monorail resorts and the Magical Express didn't seem to fluctuate much so I didn't realize it could differ. I am really looking forward to being between Epcot and DHS though. Epcot is our favorite park and DHS is the one we haven't spent as much time at as we would have liked.

DME doesn't have set routes. We usually stay at the BC, YC or BW and on various trips we've stopped at POR, POFQ, Caribbean, OKW and SSR before getting to our resort.
