Magical express booked! Now luggage....

then it seems to me you should be able to use ME...
is it indicated on your reservation?

if not, can you call and add it?

although, even without it on the reservation, one year my mom walked up to the ME desk in the airport and said she had reservations (in our room) at OKW..
there wasn't a problem, they put her right on the next bus to OKW..
and at OKW they drove her in a golf cart out to our room....very cool...

When I asked virgin about it they said we could use their transfer not the ME. I asked for my disney reservation number when I booked but they told me they won't give this to me until 181 days. :/ I will try and ask disney then.

Thanks for your help though x

you can book ME even just a few days before your arrival, so it's not a big deal if you only get your reservation number close to when you fly..

Anyone staying at a WDW resort and arriving/departing from MCO can book ME just use the online reservation service and add your resort info, flight details and who is in your party. You should get a confirmation email soon after. They no longer send the luggage tags to UK guests though so print off the confirmation to take with you.

There should be a "Book now" in the bottom right hand side if this helps.

Just booked mine, thanks for the link.

Hi I have been to Disney many times but it is the first staying on resort so a whole new experience! Just booked magical express but would you recommend collecting luggage first and then getting the coach or get it collected for us?
Opinions welcome x

Let Disney do the work; that is part of the 'magic' of the Magical Express. If you do have items that you may want to use in the first few hours, put it in a carry on. I have always found my luggage either arriving with me or right after I see our room.

We tend to pick up our bags and take then across MCO to the ME bus so we can be sure that we have our cases with us on arrival at the resort. This can be very important when flights land much later in the day/ night.

Just to note you do not need to print anything - we never do just turn up at the desk and they find you on the system from name and resort. Tickets are issued and we board the bus - easy :goodvibes

I like to carry minimum paperwork - Disney do not require anything other than photo ID to check in therefore that's all I take - no need to waste your paper & toner printing :)

Sorry to high jack

Can you use ME if you have booked a holiday through Virgin holidays?

We have booked to have a car but only their standard car (included in holiday) DH is going to collect the car but not sure if it will be big enough for all of us plus bags and push chair so me and DD were going to get ME whilst DH drives back.

We found that the virgin transfers were quicker - they use Mears. ME makes lots of stops around WDW but if you're the only party you get a Mears taxi to yourself! Or so has happened to us the last two trips :)

We can't use the virgin transfer as we are having a car they won't allow us both. Well they will if we pay for it unfortunately. I quiet like the idea of a private taxi ;)

also just a note..if you are going with VH's then you will be making your way to the A side of the terminal at MCO to collect your stuff from the VH's reps. If you decide to go by ME then you need to make your way after that across to the B side. That may be one of the reasons why they tell you that you would have to use Mears ground transportation as that is on both sides (A&B)..
Also last time we went with VH's we used their transportation and we were the second to be let off, it went to OKW first then POFQ then POR then was going on to WL and then the All stars. So its def not always quicker then ME, it just depends how lucky you are and how many people are having the transportation.

We've used both ME and VH transfers and there's really not much in it.

As you now have to collect the $ gift card from the reps at the airport we use the VH transfers.

Next year we're with Charter so back on ME
