Magical Express and Wilderness Lodge

There are no set routes, so no one can really say. It all depends on who else is flying in around when you are, and where they're going. It's all dispatched, pardon the pun, on-the-fly.

I thought the ME buses stayed in certain areas. When I went in May our arrival loop was GF, Poly, CR then the WL. Leave it to my family to be the last stop on the trip. :o)

Nope, no pre-set routes and no pre-set groupings of resorts. It's all based on need at that moment.

Someone going to WL today at 10:00 a.m. and someone else going there at 2:00 p.m. may well be grouped with different resorts.

It's all done with effiency in mind. To that end, if there are lots of people going to lots of places all around the same time, it makes sense that they'd group together resorts in the same area. Of course. But the reservations data is taken into account. On my last DME ride, to POFQ, our bus went to POFQ, POR and then FW, all in the same geographical area.

But on my first DME arrival last year, heading to CBR, we stopped at CBR first, then the bus went on to an All-Star and then to AKL. Those 3 certainly aren;t in the same geographical area, but I suppose it made the most sense in terms of expected arrivals and available buses.

I think a lot depends on how many people are going to a certain resort at any given time. If all WL guests will fill a bus then it won't go anywhere else. On our trip 12/10 it was WL and GF. WL stopped first.
