Magical Express and renting Points

We're looking into renting points for a 2 bedroom at BLT. We'd be driving down but in-laws would be flying. Would it be possible for me to rent the points and then sign up the in-laws for magical express?

As long as they are on the reservation. Give their flight information to the member to add to the reservation.
