Magical Express and Renting Points DVC broker?

I just went through a DVC broker, It's not going smoothly at all and it's hard to get answers to basic questions.
They have booked a Room at OKW with rented points and I have received Reservation Confirmation Number.

When I ask them about how to I add Magical Express to my Reservation they gave me a Web link to Disney and the Link doesn't work (Has STitch on page says: "page got eaten".

When I did an online search for DME reservations, I only can get to a page for Conventioneers (for Groups only). They do give a phone number to call to add DME for individuals though.

Can I book my own Magical Express using my Reservation Confirmation Number even though I rented from a DVC broker?

Yes, as long as you have a valid confirmation number it should not be an issue. Does the number work on MDE ?

You can call DME and try to get your reservation set up ((866) 599-0951). But technically, points reservations need to have DME set up through Member Services and Member Services won't talk to you unless you are a DVC member.

So if DME won't set up the reservation, you'll have to go back to the broker and have them have the owner you're renting from set it up.

I haven't bought my Airfare yet, so I haven't tried it,
but was trying to get the information so I would know what to do.
I regret the DVC broker that I decided to go with, they are not very good at all.
This is my first time rent points from a broker but may never do it again, it has been a bit scary.

Not sure is the Disboards allow me to state who the broker is? DVC-rental with a .com.
They say on their website that they've been in business for over 7 years and they have a good rating with BBB.
It is a broker that makes you put a down payment upfront $120.00(that should have raised red flags--it did but then I went ahead and did it--feel dumb) this down payment is applied to your final total though.
Once you put down the deposit for them to book the points, the only way to get the money back is if they don't have points to match up with your dates or resort choice, so then your stuck with them.
The lady that is the main broker that I was working with is pretty rude, If I asked a question about how to go about the next step, the answers were always vague and she made you feel like you were bothering her.
I should of went with "Davids DVC rental", there website seems to be much easier to navigate and detailed about process.

OK, I just did a live chat with a CM and was told that I can make my own reservation using my resort confirmation number. I told him specifically that I rented points for OKW, he said that would not be a problem.
Also found out that my Firefox browser would not let me go to the Magic express web page, I had to use Window Explorer,
and the document that you fill out for ME does not ask if you are a DVC member, just your reservation number, name ect.

I learned from my mistake, if I want to rent points in the future I will definitely go with Davids. I've always booked package directly with Disney and it was easy to understand.
Being a 1st time renter, once I put that deposit down, was stuck, then the worry set in. Everything worked out in the end and I got a reservation and I figured out how to add ME.
