I will be attending a conference in Orlando the end of Jan 2020 but staying at Disney. The conference listed the Coronado Springs Hotel as an official conference hotel, with shuttle service to Orlando and the conference. Thru the conference web site I booked the hotel, but did not receive a confirmation number - apparently, that will arrive by email about a week prior to the conference. I tried booking the Magical Express but was told without a reservation number I can not book. The reservation went thru One Peak (?) . .... has anyone run-in to this type of situation? Will I have a problem if I contact Magical Express about a week before for reservation? any advice would be helpful!

As long as your reservation is at a Disney Hotel one week is plenty of time. But You won’t have time to get luggage tags in the mail. Actually you can arrive at Magical Express at the Orlando Airport with no Magical Express reservation and still get a ride on the Magical Express to your Disney Resort. The return trip to the airport does require a reservation. It’s best to give at least 24 hours notice for that, but they may sometimes be able to accommodate you with less notice.

Have you tried contacting https://www.onpeak.com/help ?

As a courtesy, call Magical Express when you get your confirmation number. You will not receive yellow tags for your luggage to be picked up by Magical Express. You have two options, grab your luggage from baggage claim and bring with you. Or, you can give personnel at Magical Express check in desk your baggage claim numbers and they will get your luggage from baggage claim and deliver to your resort. (This secon d option, will take longer for your luggage to reach your hotel.)

Magical Express runs 24\7 days a week, so need to hurry to catch a specific bus or seat. You will be accommodated when you arrive.

Leaving resort, you definitely want to make sure you have a reservation for Magical Express. So not assume, you will just catch next bus, some are actually full.

Interestingly, not necessarily. A few posters recently, in various threads, have indicated that there wasn't a longer than usual wait for claim check luggage.

Thanks ! Yes, I'm very familiar with magical express as a DVC member and plan on just taking a carry on, I just never made reservations thru anything but Member Services and was shocked when I didn't receive a reservation number.
