Magical Express and different flights? Need advice

Just a question about the free Disney resort transportation at the airport. I am thinking of flying a day earlier on our vacation with my kids and checking into a Disney economy hotel for the first night and transfer to AKL the next day. My husband will be flying in from a different airport on the next day and coming to AKL. Will Disney still transport everyone without a problem? How do I explain this to them or is it not unusual?

I'd phone DME and ask. They need your flight info too.

You need to set up that first night at the value for yourself and the kids. Then, you can call DME and make arrangements for your DME ride. Then, book DME for your DH based on the AKL reservation. It won't be an issue at all.
My dh and I do that frequently.

Is there a number to call DME, or is it just the same number used for making reservations? At the time I booked my room only reservation, I did not have my flights booked, so I now need to give information for my flights.

I just did this yesterday. My mom, DS, and myself are arriving a day earlier than DBF. I called and the CM was very nice and explained that any reservation can be made for any day. All he needed was the dates and flight numbers. I then received an update copy of the Ressie with all the correct information.
