Magical Express and Air upgrades

Just thought I'd share my experience the last time I visited. I requested an upgrade on points for the flight back--it apparently went through the day before, but for some reason the seat numbers weren't inputted into the system, so when I went to check in at the ME desk in the lobby, they couldn't check me in. I had to call the airline (while at the desk--thank goodness no one else needed it!) and eventually had to have them cancel the upgrade so that I could check the luggage and get a boarding pass from the resort. I felt the convenience of not having to manage the luggage myself or wait in line outweighed the niceness of the upgrade.

Anyway, the moral is, perhaps don't expect to be able to check in with ME if you're hoping for an upgrade. The seats don't seem to always go through in time for them to be able to print you a boarding pass...

What was your airline??

I have gotten upgrades on DL and used the luggage service without an issue.
