Hi, all! I'm finally making it back to WDW later this year, and my father in law is retired Navy, so we're going to give Shades of Green a try!

We will be starting our December vacation at All Star Music, and then moving to Shades of Green for the last few days. I know that Shades of Green does not participate in Magical Express, but can I still book a return trip, since I'm staying at ASM? I suppose I'll have to move my bags to a Disney resort. The Poly would be closest, but could I move my bags back to ASM and pick up ME there?

For that matter, will Disney transfer my bags from All Start to Shades of Green?

Thanks,
Doug

You will need to transfer back to a Disney's resort and stay your last night there in order to take Magical Express back to the airport.

As SeashorCM said you need to check out from a regular Disney resort to use DME to get back to MCO.

To get bags from ASM to SOG is a tough question. You might want to pose it on a DVC board because they often more from a resort to a villa.

Moving your bags shouldn't be an issue. I can't imagine ASM won't move your bags to SoG. They move stuff to the S/D all the time...SoG isn't all that different.
As far as DME....you have to be actively staying at a resort, and listed on the resort reservation, on the day of your departure in order to ride DME back to MCO. So...if you have moved out of ASM and gone on to SoG, no, you can't ride DME back. If your ASM reservation is active on the day you need to leave for MCO, then you can use DME.
