So, I booked my Disney Vacation Package way before I booked my airline flight. I have the magical express and just recieved the information and tags for my luggage in the mail. However, in the booklet that comes with the tags it says no airline information (because none was available). Do I need to call Disney to inform them of my airline information? I just don't want to be stuck. Thanks in advance!

yes you have to call the Magic Express to give you info about you flight so they know wheere to get your luggage.

It doesn't really matter. Flight times change and you could be late. I updated my arrival to MCO the night before because the time was changed and I was checking the night before.

I think it is more a courtesy to them so they can schedule better. This of course will make it smoother for them.

Honestly, if you have a reservation for a specific day of arrival, that is all that is needed. Flight times change all the time. In fact, your ME info will not even list an arrival time.

When you get to the ME desk, simply update the departure info so they have it in the computer and you will be good to go.

:confused3 I thought the airlines baggage handlers take the bags off the planes... the bags with white tags get put on the carousel for passengers, the bags with yellow tags go to 'x' area and ME takes over. Airline/flight/time of arrival shouldn't matter, should it?

Exactly!! Arrival time or flight number information is not critical. The resort information on those luggage tags is critical. As long as they have your name and resort, you are good to go!!

When you arrive, you can give them your return flight info so that they can schedule your pickup time.

IF you have a late arriving flight, I would give them a call and give them your arrival information. That way they track your flight number and if your flight is delayed really late (like past midnight or later), then they know to keep personnel on hand at the airport to get you to your resort.

That's such a relief! Sp, my bags will make it there even if they have no prior knowlage of what flight I was on at all?
