We used DME on our recent trip and it again worked very well for us. My daughter and I had previously used it on May 5th and my husband and son in June. This trip we were a party of 8. We flew Southwest. I had received our 2 packages about 3 weeks before the trip and they had all our luggage tags and 2 pin/lanyard coupons. The only mistake they had was in our departure. The had the correct flight number but wrong time for departure. We were flying out at 1:05 pm and it was listed as 8:40 am. I called to correct this and was told that no departure information should even have been printed in the booklet because it was still more that 20 days out and they didn't even have the information in their computers, but that it wasn't a problem, I could fix it upon arrival, which I forgot to do. I also called just a few days before leaving to take my husband's name off the list for transportation to the airport but leave him on for the return trip. He was going to rent a car overnight for a grocery store and Krispy Kreme run. Again, not a problem. We put our yellow tags on our bags and checked them in in Hartford. We flew down to Orlando arriving around 1:30 pm. We left my husband at the rental car counter and proceeded to the ME desk. We were checked in and led to our waiting line very quickly. We soon boarded the bus but waited on the bus about 15 minutes before leaving. We were at OKW by 3:00, having made one other drop off along the way. We weren't able to check in until around 4:30 so we explored for a while, then checked in, unpacked, help put away groceries and left for supper. Our luggage was not there when we left around 5:30 but was there when we returned at 8:30. The day before departure an envelope was hanging on our door when we got up with our departure information in it. The flight number was right but the time was still wrong. I called the DME number and explained. The CM asked if I had checked with the airline that there were no changes. I had checked before we left, but had my husband call just to make sure. It had not changed, so the DME CM made the change for out pickup time, from 5:50 to 10:15, (much more reasonable) and we were off for the day. The next morning we were at the HH by 10 and the bus came around 10:20. We made a stop at SSR and were at the airport by 11:30. Since we flew Southwest we had to check in our own luggage but I had printed our boarding passes at OKW the previous day. We got a very helpful skycap who took only my husband and our BPs to get our luggage tags. When they returned the skycap put on the luggage tags and took the bags to check then in for us and we proceeded onto security. We stopped to grab lunch and didn't realize the time. We had A boarding passes and several young kids but by the time we got to the gate they had already boarded those with B passes. We were able to board right away and were lucky to be able to sit altogether, although at the very back of the plane. We will continue to use ME while it is still available.

Heads up for all of you folks eavesdropping!

Magical Express normally does not include time for meals at the airport on the way back home. But you can request (at least a day before check out) an earlier ME bus from your resort to make time for a meal.

Disney quotes that ME must be booked at least 10 days prior to departure, but most unofficial sources recommend between 3-6 weeks in advance to make sue you are properly booked, and get your luggage tags on time.

thanks for your review. we just received our package (lots of mistakes), but did not include any coupons for pins or lanyards? Is that something everyone gets?

Also... How important is it that the luggage tags have the correct date on the tags? They really messed up on ours. We did not receive all the reservations for everyone. Not all the luggage tags, they have our arrival on a day later on the wrong flight and airline and our departure on the wrong flight and airline. Our baggage tags have the right resort, but the wrong arrival date. They said everything is now correct in the computer, but just use the tags, since they have the right resort. Should I request new tags?
