Magical drinks?

So my daughter says that there is something she saw on YouTube or on the internet somewhere that showed a restaurant in the Harry Potter part of the park where you could be served "foggy drinks" Like magical drinks. :wizard:

OK I feel ridiculous even writing this, but what we won't do for our children...

I have searched and I cannot find any pictures of anyone having a smoking drink. Would anyone have any idea what she might have seen and where this magical concoction can be had?

Ya, the only one I can think of is the Flaming Moe as well.

There's a free-standing booth in the middle of the Diagon Alley section (near where the puppets perform) that said something about magical drinks. Like you buy a bottle of water and add a colored something to it. We didn't do it so I am not sure exactly what it is.

There are some specialty drinks in the Leaky Cauldron also.

The Flaming Moe uses dry ice to create the smoking effect. It is some kind of orange drink. I thought it might be fun to try since I am a huge Simpsons fan, but I read that, though it looks really cool, the taste isn't that exciting, and it is very expensive.

If that is what your kids got excited about though, I would say go for it.

We thought the Flaming Moe was the most truly awful thing we ever tasted at Universal............

We got it......took a picture of it.....as you do and left it. Not nice. But yeah you have to get one to take a pic of it :thumbsup2

The Flaming Moe is expensive, I believe it was $8 or $9. But it is really cool and I liked the flavor - sort of a tropical orange soda. If it wasn't so expensive, I would get it again.

The Flaming Moe is a good novelty drink, non-alcoholic and over-priced but you keep the glass as a souvenir. The Duff beers and the beers at WWoHP are all made by the Florida Beer Company special for Universal. Very good quality beer. Lager, ale and porter.

Coincidentally, my profile avatar is a photo of me holding a Flaming Moe.

Excellent! DH will be most pleased if Duff Beer is something he likes. He can brag to all his friends about it :rotfl:

I ordered a Flaming Moe on my first trip to Springfield! It tasted fine... nothing special. It was pretty cool watching it bubble and smoke. I'm glad I got it once, but I feel like once is enough and I have no plans to ever order it again.

My daughter just had the Flaming Moe today, it was $8.99, souvenir cup included, it was a very small amount of Sprite-ish orange colored soda. Not exactly an orange Fanta, because it doesn't taste too much like orange. It was fun to see the reactions of people watching her drink it, but it wasn't worth the price, TBH.
