I bought the convention rate tickets and they show in MDE, but it won't let me make fast passes with them. Is there something more I need to do or am I stuck calling Disney IT?

September. I know my 60 days isn't open, but I was just making sure they were working. Do the convention tickets have a time period in which they are "active?"

As long as they're showing up in MDE, you should be fine. I'm assuming that since you have convention tickets, that you don't have a package, which means that you should actually be able to book FP for any date from today through April 15 (and then tomorrow through the 16th, and so on), because basically without a package, the system views you as if you were an off-property guest. Then when you're 60 days out, you'll be able to see the 60 day window.

That was what I thought as well, but it is not giving me the option to test run those tickets. Currently, I have three people with tickets and the only ticket that will let me selection fp+ is the magic your way ticket that I had extra from last trip. Maybe a call to IT is in my future.

I'd also talk to MV people. I'm sure they have lots of experience with this issue.

As they are convention tickets, they may be dated for use only during a certain time period. You might not be able to make FP+ reservations until the tickets become valid.
