Magical Deal at the Poly for 2015

I have booked one of these magical deals before and everything was great. Quick replies and good service. However, I emailed the same TA three days ago and haven't gotten any kind of reply. Anyone else having this kind of issue?

My TA has been awesome - instantaneous responses, and really nice. I bet yours is on vacation or something like that, but if you need a name, PM me!

I had a similar situation with the same company - had been emailing and had quick responses, and then a big lull. Turns out the email was overlooked or lost somewhere along the way. I would just email again and explain that you were concerned it was lost in the shuffle. I've been pleased with the communication, would never have considered using an agency before but hey, if it helps, why not!

I've used the same company - we had the Poly deal but needed to change our dates to November and switched to Pop. Still got a great deal. 8 nights w/ 7 day hoppers (2 adults) for $1400ish. She said if free dining becomes available that she would gladly get that promo for us!

Sometimes I do get a few days between responses with the TA I have been dealing with - once I got the quote, I just called with any questions I had and she was happy to answer!

That's awesome! Thank you for sharing your experience. I made my reservation today, but the ticket page on MDE shows that I have "convention" tickets. Is that typical? Is there any difficulty in using those to visit the park for the full day? Do we have to show proof of being there with a convention? I asked the agent, and she said it was the same as a regular ticket, but I'm just trying to make sure...

I called Disney to verify the type of ticket and the first girl I spoke to was really rude with me over it. I called back, and the second representative was kind and said she couldn't give specific information to anyone other than the person who booked the package, but it sounded like I had full day tickets to her. Thoughts?

It reads "Convention 5-Day w/PH + 1 Fun"

That is because the way this agency gets the deals that no one else can is they book a package as if they are having a convention. Convention room rates, convention tickets, etc. They just don't have any actual convention you have to attend. I guess technically, as long as you pay the fees to Disney that are required, they don't care if you have meetings or not.

These deals sound fantastic! I just sent in a quote request for our Nov 28- Dec 5 2015 trip. We are currently booked for POR. But, if we can possibly trade up, then why not? I'm not holding my breath, but it's worth a shot!

Sent you a PM

Trying to send in quote form and it won't send . I type in Security Key and it says invalid input ???
Also I am leaving the Offer Code blank as I don't have one .
Help please ! Thanks

Never.

If TA is on Vacay, I've always been notified with another TA to contact who is covering. You'd never be left in limbo if your TA is away.

The convention tickets are standard under this deal and work the same way as any other regular ticket.

Yes, these tickets work like "regular" tickets, but if you want to make any changes, or upgrades, like adding Park Hoppers, you must go through the TA. they cannot be upgraded at WDW.

Even though this was indicated in the emails they sent, I overlooked this last year. A CM at MK upgraded us to Park Hoppers, and when we showed up at Typhoon Lagoon we found out that we had lost our Fun Day. But, they were able to make it right and all ended well.

Good to know...thanks! Glad it worked out for you in the end!

I'm glad that worked out for you. And, thank you for the reassurance. I never thought we could stay at the Poly!

Just a quick note.....I heard from my TA that the agency had gotten a huge volume of client communications this week. She said something about thinking that since half of the nation was freezing everyone must be wanting to plan a trip to WDW :). It may have slowed a few agents down a little bit. But if you haven't heard back from yours....you never know about email....I would just send a friendly reminder! :cheer2: Keep cheering them on to keep us getting rocking' good deals!

Just wanted to thank everyone for this thread. I happened upon it by accident but was able to find what everyone was talking about and not only got better rates, but also into the WL which I couldn't do previously.

I want to second that! Thank you all for you tips on the magical deal! The Poly will be a dream come true--something we could never imagine we would be able to afford. TA has been wonderful. Warm and responsive. If anyone needs a name there, give me a shout!

This is a great agency with great rates. I used them in 2013 for our stay at the Yacht Club. I am shocked that they have let this thread continue as it has. They used to never let a thread continue when talking about this travel agency. Would always get shut down. I wonder what has changed?:confused3

I am glad I happened upon this thread. Was able to figure out which agency it was, and have requested a quote. Thank you!:cool1:

I have already booked directly through Disney, but now that I've gotten a quote I think we will go with the magical deal. Does anyone know if I can get my deposit back from Disney? This is a great deal!

As long as you are outside the 45 day window yes

Thrilled with this thread, got a quote for the Grand Floridian for my Mom's b-day bash (which falls in Jersey week) and I'm going with it! :cool1: Totally excited!
