I'm sorry to read about your mom, Robin. I wish you and your family peace and blessings during the next several months.

I hope things turned out ok for Carly and she won't need surgery.


As for things here - its been very chaotic and I had a melt-down today from all there is to do. I put off the door signs etc and now I'm sorry I did. My mom was going to make our fish extenders as I don't know how to sew - so I bought all the fabric and printed out the instructions and now she's not going to do it. Sigh... Looks like a bag or ebay for us. (Although I will take a closer look at the link for the card holder - Thanks)

Dreams Unlimited still has our other room as a GTY but DCL has our room as 5014. So I guess that means we are officially in 5014 & 6132. Can someone send me the excel file (if you don't mind) with the room numbers, etc. I can't see that ever received it.

We have not received any documents or flyers or anything from DCL. Has everyone else received theirs? Just worried about keeping it all together.

We are bringing a small tree and decorations and the command hooks for lights. Rachael (10) is really, really into decorating for Christmas so I have to keep the thought there but the results and the smaller side. Emily (14) just wants to see the ship all decorated - doesn't care about the staterooms

Rachael is sick with the flu today and will for sure be home from school tomorrow so I hope to get the door signs printed and then I'll laminate and attach magnets. Was planning on the magnetic paper but that just isn't gonna happen I don't think.

We haven't seen (and have wanted to see) BHC, Bolt, and HSM3. Morning Light also looks good. We've seen College Road Trip, POTC, Prince Caspian, and Wall-E (we just got Wall-E on DVD and have probably seen it 10 times in the last two weeks).

Lisa - {{{hugs}}} The ship will sail with all of us whether or not we have door signs, magnets, fish extenders.... so take a deep breath! I don't sew and did all of our fish extender with iron-on sewing tape and hot glue. Definitely not a professional job but good enough.

I can't believe that I booked this cruise almost 2 years ago, and it's almost here now!!! It seems like SO, SO long ago!!!

an upgrade is great! i am excited to have a verndah again! last xmas we booked the cruise on the boat and picked our room so its odd we were changed so last minute!

We have not got out documents yet either. I am very excited now that I know they are on their way.

We will have to have an update for the FE gifts with all the upgrades and change in rooms.

I am trying to decide if I should bring an extra suitcase with a case of bottled water in it and then have the empty suitcase to bring home the stuff we buy. But I am not sure by the time I haul it, pay the extra $15 checked back fee whether it will be worth it or not. Any ideas?

Sorry if someone already answered this . . . I have been off the boards for awhile and I am trying to catch up . . .

Last time we cruised (2/07), a case of water was $35 on the ship, so if you have to pay $15 each way . . . you would almost break even.

We are staying at the airport the night before the cruise, so we are going to try and run out and purchase a couple of cases of water for our group . . . . then just haul them on.

Lisa - I actually am grabbing a stocking that I use for decoration . . . I really wanted a fancy FE, but decided that it just didn't make sense for me. Seeing it was Christmas, I figure the stocking will work fine.

Hi everyone . . . I have been off line for almost a month . . . wow - have you all been busy. It was fun reading through the last 20 pages of posts!

I can not believe we only have two weekends left!!!! When am I going to get everything done . . . trying to get the family to be more self sufficient . . . they don't seem to understand that if I need to answer questions 20 times about how to do something, I might was well do it myself!!! oh well. . . .

we have so much going on in the evenings over the next two weeks, it is going to be a struggle to get everything in.
