Amy, can you add DH to my dolphin excursion? He has decided to go with us as a group. So 4 adults and 1 child. Let me know how we go about reserving, paying, etc...

I bought a TON of Christmas crafts at Hobby Lobby on Friday and have the kids putting them together as we speak with Christmas music playing.

Now, my next task is to get DH to create our family "business card" and our door signs! His jobs-to-do list is NEVER done.

Hey Shannon - I actually included your DH and the 2 older kids and your youngest one. I figured that since you were not interested in the water part of the excursion, that we could probably save you money to just purchase admission to Chankanaab when you get there, and you'll be able to watch from a "safe" distance without getting in. And, now that I think about it, wouldn't it actually be 2A, 1C and 1F, because will Mitchell be 12 by the cruise?

Shirts!!!

OK, so now that I made changes to Amy's design, does anyone want to see any changes to Lissa's design?

Do we want to vote on which one we like better? Do we want to just offer them both? (I'd like to offer both)

Lissa, how do you envision your shirt? With the design just on the front? Amy's is with a little wreath on the "pocket" and the big design on the back. We can do Lissa all on the front or you can comeup with something for the front and make that the back design.

I'll wait a few days to hear everyone's thought and work on getting the shop set up by the end of the week.

You are absolutely right Amy!! I won't be getting in the water, so however we have to reserve my place there is fine by me!! I am glad someone is staying on top of these things! And yep, Mitchell will be 12 by cruise time. I am getting so excited! This will be a lot of fun! I love the t-shirt idea as well for dolphin day! If we decide to do it, count us in!

Amy I love your designs. They look wonderful. Trust me the first time I used photo shop I spent a whole day muttering words I should not be saying.

Diana I hadn't really thoguh about it but yeah my design would probable look best on the back of a shirt. If you want to offer both I can come up with something to go on the front for the pocket. Just let me know.

So we are at our 90 day mark! We only booked one excurison just the 7 mile beach break at Caymen we want time to do some shopping as that is my fave thing to do I love the t-shirt designs. How do we go about getting one for the cruise? Also curious as to what the ornament exchange is all about. We are new to this whole thing as we have only did a 4 night cruise before so sorry for all the questions! I would love a copy of the spreadsheet also if possible. Take care everyone!

I can answer the shirt question for you. This week, or maybe next, I will set up a shop on cafepress. You'll be able to place your order directly through their site, pay them, and they ship directly to you. You can check out www.cafepress.com/ssmc06 for an idea of what was offered when I did the shop for the DVC Member cruise. I'll post as soon as our shop is open. I can add any product to the shop that you can see on the site, so you're not limited to t-shirt. Heck, they even have thongs!!

I was looking into that some more tonight---I can have one of each item in the shop. Which means we may have to vote on which design we want beause if we have shirts, it will have to be one or the other design. I will definitely add the hat, the christmas ornament, the tote bag and the tshirts. It doesn't matter how much or how little I offer, so I'll offer everything they let me.

It is great everyone got what they wanted last night . . . I logged on to find out our cruise wasn't paid in full yet . . There was a mix up, FIL was going to make the final payment for everyone, but the due date isn't until October, he did not realize this would impact me making reservations . . . . oh well . . . Palo's was the only thing I was really worried about . . .

Love the t-shirt designs. I think Amy's might show up the best on the white t-shirts. How generous are the t-shirts . . . are they pretty true to size?

Diana - like the hat idea, but would love a visor. . . . can you see if that is possible.

I'm starting to freak a little . . . 90 days makes it more real . . .now I really need to start work on the door signs, and stuff. Time is going to fly.

Has anyone ever used the iron on transfers? I picked up some fabric backpacks from Oriental Trading and I am going to do something similar to our DIS T-shirt idea . . . but indicating the celebration of the in-laws anniversary . . . DD and I are working on things to put in the backpacks for the rest of the extended family. DD wants to make santa hats with Mickey ears, then put little survivor type things for first time cruisers . . . can't decide to give it to them before we go or once we get on the ship. I wanted to do something from the perfect gift, but I always go overboard and by the time I add delivery on to it, I spend more than I expected.

Do you guys think I should give it to them before the cruise, or when we get on board?

I love the the hat idea as well, Diana!! I wear ball caps a lot and would love one to remember this cruise by.

We could always put these designs on red or green t-shirts, right?? I love Amy's design with the holiday colors and think it would look even more vibrant on red or green. If that is an option, I would order a mixture of the two holiday colors for my family!!

One more thing, I think that I've found all my requests for the dolphin encounter in Cozumel. Here's what I came up with. If this is incorrect, please PM me.

That gives us a total of 22 people (15A, 2C, 5F), so we are eligible for their 10% discount.

Amy - you've got us right - and thanks again for coordinating us! I'm excited about having a big group to go together - what a fun idea! And I like the idea of the dolphin-day shirt... not sure if DH and the boys will go for "matching shirts" but we saw several matching-shirt-groups at WDW this weekend that I kept pointing out, so maybe they'll go for it.

We got home about 1/2 hour ago in the pouring rain after a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up snacks for Zachary's class as it's his week for snacks plus it's his birthday week. Whew. Ching-ching.

Anyway, I have the spreadsheet on my work computer so I'll update it Monday morning with everything that has been posted or PMed to me over the weekend. I'm keeping a list of who wants the spreadsheet and will email it out on Monday night -- and then if we have changes / additions as we go, I'll make those and resend as necessary. I expect we may get a few more DISers -- if you see folks posting on the main Cruise board and they have our sailing date in their sig-line or mention their travel dates, be sure to invite them on over!

I'm excited because I was able to get what I wanted for the FE at the Emporium today - a fabulous CM named Adam who is in the College Program went in the back and got what I needed as they didn't have enough out. But I'm not telling Anyway, for those counting, I picked up 35 - I can order more if I need to, but if I have extra, that's ok, too. We had 38 cabins at my last count but that was before taking off a few extended family cabins that did not want to participate. So at this point, plan for 35 total cabins although not everyone is planning to participate in the FE. I'll post those that I have marked as participating sometime Monday and then if I've missed someone(s), you all can post/PM to let me know and I'll mark you on the spreadsheet.

Ah, the Emporium! Cindy, that is my favorite store in the whole world!!! I think I could live in there if they would let me!

I just wanted to again thank all of you who are coordinating different things for this cruise. You all are doing a WONDERFUL job and I know that I, for one, really appreciate it. I think we are going to have a really great time and I can't wait to meet each and every one of you!!!

The way I have it set up is that if more than one person in the cabin has posted to the thread at any point, both user names are listed together (like Amy and her DH). And if a DISer has more than one cabin in their group participating, they are listed multiple times because each group is participating (like Susan and her siblings - xsjackson, xsjackson1, xsjackson2, etc.).
