Magical Beginnings at Vero

DH and I have been talking about adding on for a while now and we are taking the plunge with 100 points at Vero. We already own at Boardwalk and love it. When we went to the members update at Boardwalk two weeks ago they talked about the Magical Beginnings offer at Vero of $15. That brought the cost down to $65/point. Last year we sent his parents to Vero for a week and they loved it, we plan to do the same next year. We are also looking to go there ourselves in the future at the end of a WDW trip.

Talked to our guide today and the paperwork is in the works.

Congradulations on your VB add-on.We also added on at VB this past yr(200 pts). It is nice to have 1 on-site(OKW) and 1 ocean front(VB). This way you have the best of both(11 month window also).

Well, congratulations! That is very good news!
We also added on with two VB contracts. We stayed there last month, and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We didn't really do anything except 'beach & pool'. No schedules, no lines, and no 'toot of the angry horn'.

We did the very same thing in May. We already had 200 points at OKW and decided to add on 100 points at Vero. We love Vero and would love to take the entire family there some day. The price of points there was very enticing. But we did have to do a run donm on the maintenance since it is quite a bit more there than BCV. We found that we were really paying about the same per point when it was all said and done. Actually, by the end of the contract (2042) the Vero points were a bit more expensive. But we really want to have the 11 month window there to be able to reserve a beach cottage. Congratulations!

Thanks to all for confirming what we already thought - that Vero will be a nice relaxing break for us. Yes I'm aware the dues are a bit more, but we used the "buy where you want to stay" rule. My in-laws are big beach fans and usually go to Cocoa Beach twice a year. They loved Vero when we sent them there last year. We are looking forward to it as a place to relax for 2-3 days after doing Disney.
