Magic Your Way WITHOUT Park Tickets?

Is it possible to select the Magic Your Way package on the Disney site, un-select the park tickets (so I can buy them on Undercover Tourist), but still get the benefits of the Magic Your Way package? ie, the dining plan, arcade card, planet hollywood gift certificate.

The site allows me to deselect the tickets and my plan still says Magic Your Way, but I just want to make sure.

No. By definition a package (other than for an Annual Passholder) consists of at least a room and tickets.

Would it be possible to convert it to a package upon arrival by adding the tickets? Or would it need to be a room only reservation and then add the tickets and dining?

Dining must be added at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

If you have room-only all you need to pay is a deposit equal to one night room and tax, with the balance due on arrival.

If you have a package it requires a $200 deposit and full payment 45 days in advance. If you get a package within 45 days of arrival you have to pay in full when the reservation is made.

So if you have a room-only reservation to convert it to a package requires it be done at least three days out.

To get the MYW package - to include dining - I believe you need to buy tickets for 2 days. Which by then it would just make sense to get them through Disney.

You only have to buy 1 day unless you are purchasing a free dining package, then that requires 2 day tickets.
