Who has used the Magic Your Way Express- having your luggage taken from the Airport to your room? How long did you have to wait for your luggage to arrive? We are leaving on Thursday and I am debating using this service. Our plane lands at 6pm and we have dinner reservations at 8:30- 1900 Park Fare. Should I use the MYWE? We plan on taking a cab from Pop Century to the Grand Floridian to ensure we make our ressi's on time....

I used the service last year in September with no problems, even though the whole time I was very scared. After I checked in I went directly to the parks and when I returned to the room the luggage magically appeared :} .

We stayed at the Poly, & we waited for our luggage. I think they took about an hour to get it to us. ME was great though. I think we waited at the airport for maybe 15 min's before leaving. We did stop at a few other resorts first, but I think the total travel time was 30 min's. We did take a cab on our trip home though, because if we used ME they would have taken us to the airport 3 hours early.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but at this late date (today is Tuesday and you are arriving at WDW on Thursday) you can no longer request this service for this visit. Disney's Magical Express (DME or sometimes just ME) must be reserved no later than 10 days in advance. Disney will then send you special luggage tags and other information. Since there is really only one more day until you leave, there is not enough time for Disney to prepare the tags and information and get it to you in time for you to use it on this trip.

We used ME about three weeks after the service launched in May of 2005 and it worked beautifully. It took the luggage about 2 -3 hours to arrive, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our first few hours at the resort. I was a little nervous, especially since the service was so new, but I'm returning in Sept. and have already booked this service for that visit.

For some very good information about this service, I suggest you visit http://allearsnet.com/acc/mexpress.htm
