Do you also share tables on Magic class ships? We Benin on the Magic three time she and we didn't share but we have more family. This time for our Alaskan cruise we might have our cousins and their parents. Is we don't have them, will we still share a table with another family?

Maybe. Maybe not. All the dining rooms on all the ships have the serving setup. Each serving team serves a 4 top, a 6 top, and an 8 top table. Depending on what size your party is, you may have a table to yourselves. If there are only 2 of you, you will most likely be seated with others, unless you request otherwise. One note on this - not all requests are honored, but most are.

On our Panama Canal cruise on the Wonder, our family of 5 was combined with another family of 5 (who we did not know before the cruise) to make a table for 10. So even if you have a larger family you could get combined with others to make up a full table.

Yep, we have 5 as well. I guess we'll just have to see.

I've done the Magic twice (as a family of four), the Dream once (as a family of three), and the Fantasy twice (once as three and once as four). On the Magic I never made a request but on the Dream and Fantasy I asked not to share. We have never been seated with anyone. We'll be on the Wonder next summer and I will request a table to ourselves.

I don't want to jinx it, we've also always requested our family of 3 be seated alone (1st seating) and always got our request, fingers crossed for next cruise

Family of three here and we sat with another very lovely family of 3 on the Magic. I swear Disney snooped our Facebook accounts because it really was a great matchup.

We have had a mixed bag to date, sometimes with another family of 3 with a DD aged similar to ours and sometimes alone. We are outgoing and normally get along with just about everyone and have had wonderful table mates each time (except once when our DD was 1 and the family was Japanese and barely spoke English).

On our last cruise, we actually ended up spending time with our table mates on CC and our DD loved playing with their DD who have birthday's 1 day apart. They have since purchased a cruise on our next cruise on the Dream and we are looking forward to seeing them and having another great cruise.

LOL. I would agree except we dont have facebook.

I have been on 6 DCL cruises. All 6 I requested a private table & all 6 I have gotten my request. We were late seating for 5 of the 6 cruises and we've been either a party of two or three.
