DGM wants to buy a gold necklace for her cross.

DS broke her necklace. We want to buy her a new one, She is fighting us about this.

Are there good deals in Grand Cayman or Cozumels?

I do not know about the places you mentioned, but I do know about Key West - there is a place there called Touch of Gold run by 2 brothers Vinny and Gary - I have known them for years and never have I ever been disappointed in their prices - They, for not being from Key West, I have found to be very honest and very fair with everyone that goes into their shop - also if you will tell them I recommended them, they will give you extra off - they have saved my own family monies - no there isn't anything in it for me - they just are extra good to those that I recommend -
They are located right by Keno's sandals accross the street from Mallory Square.

I didn't purchase jewelry in Grand Cayman, but I have in Cozumel and St. Maarten.

Be prepared to bargain. It's all part of the experience.

My one suggestion, be sure to go to a DCL recommended shop. DCL will stand behind your purchase. (That and hearing some of the horror stories from those who shopped elsewhere.)
