Magic Today

Does anyone know what time the Magic sets sail today? I have friends aboard abd and would like to watch them go on online.

Might also be something to do with her first stop in Orlando for a long time, and setting off for the transatlantic...

I know on our EBTA last year, boarding didn't even start until after noon. And I believe we were delayed departing. I'll have to look up when we actually left.....

OK, so not so late - we departed around 5:30.

Hmm...maybe there were flight delays because of the weather and they are waiting for those guest to arrive since it is a TA sailing?

I know on our EBTA last year, boarding didn't even start until after noon. And I believe we were delayed departing. I'll have to look up when we actually left.....

Yeah, I feel both TAs I did were 'delayed'. I think it's generally a bit more chilled and it's a big turn over day. There's usually a decent size turn around of crew pre and post these cruises too which doesn't help lol.

We just made it home on time to see the sail away because of the delay. Our friends are going on their first ever DCL. Quite an introduction on an EBTA. I hope we didn't set their expectations too high. Up until yesterday they swore that we were planning on secretly joining them.

I hope they have better seas/weather than we did. They are cruising further south than last years TA, so I would think so.

Last year we had 5 days (and nights) of textbook North Atlantic seas (cold, rough, and icy) between Canada and Ireland.

They actually held the sailaway party in the atrium instead of on deck. I watched sailor from my porthole.
