Magic Tipping - still autograt?

I know that when the Magic first came back from the Med there was discussion that they now automatically added recommended ammounts of gratuity to your stateroom account and you could adjust up or down as desired.

Is this still the case or have they gone back to tipping inline with the other 2 ships and the previous policy that these are the recommended values and you can add it to your stateroom account or pay cash as desired?

I hadn't seen it mentioned since the first cruise back so I wasn't sure if the policy change was permanent or not.

I am not trying to start a debate on auto gratuity, I am just trying to clarify what the current policy on board is.

It was on our October 29 cruise.

We just got back Saturday (11-19) and $84.00 per person was automatically charged to our account.

We just paid for our cruise and wanted to pay tip in advance. It was an automatic $84 per person including our 1 year old.

Just off the Dream a week ago and tips per day were auto'd on my shipboard account. Now I did pre pay tips so I'm not sure if i'd have seen the same daily add-ons if i had not

Got off the Dream on November 17, tips were not automatically charged to my account.

We were on the Nov 5-12 on the Magic and the tips were automatically charged to the room at the BEGINNING of the cruise.

Doing it at the beginning is significant b/c after my account went over $500 (with $252 being from tips), they automatically charged my credit card. I realized this on day 3 (I think)when I went down to give my Disney Rewards Card info that had $800 on it. I found out later that I could have requested they back out the tips (this was not told to me by Guest Services at the time), but I don't know if they would have actually credited my credit card.
