Magic shuttle at cdg?

Maybe someone can advice as i have been wondering....
We shall be landing at cdg airport at terminal 2d. The magical shuttle says it leaves from terminal 2e/f.
How far is it to get from 2d to 2e/f? Is it a walking distance and if so how long?

We will be with my 2 year old son so this may make a difference to our walking pace

The Magic Shuttle departure point is in the corridor linking 2E and 2F. It is on the arrivals level. I usually follow the signs for 2E arrivals and then you can see the corridor going to 2F and the Disney Magic Shuttle sign

It might also be worth checking out the cost of a private or shared shuttle as if there are a few of you this can sometimes work out cheaper - you will be collected from your arrivals terminal and dropped at your hotel so no trying to negotiate the airport to find the bus with luggage and a toddler

The magic shuttle leaves from terminal 2E/2F. Our flight also landed as yours will be, in terminal 2D. The walking distance was approximately 10-15 min and you have to go a level down using the escalators to access the buses.

Getting out of terminal 2D main door to the hall go left keep going straight until you see terminal 2E/F signs (it is actually 2F). Then go a level down (that's 2E) and you keep walking until you see the Disney Magic Shuttle kiosk for tickets.

We went right instead of left the first time and lost another 5 min. Thankfully we got to the buses just in time (the bus was just about to leave!)

There is also the TGV train that can take you there in 10-15 minutes.

Do you save money pre-booking Magical Shuttle in advance?

I honestly can't make heads or tails of what's going to be the best arrival option for us. It looks like we'll be arriving at Terminal 1 (WOW Air) at 11:20AM, and have to collect our baggage and then pick up the Paris museum pass (though I could skip this if need be - we'll be continuing onto Paris proper after our DLP stay). Our first night is at the Kyriad Hotel. Based on the timetables here (http://magicalshuttle.co.uk/timetables-prices/horaires-navettes-cdg-val-deurope-selected/) it looks like we would need to make the 11:50 shuttle, and then the next one isn't for another 2+ hours? If we don't buy our tickets online in advance, we would have to go to the desk at Terminal 2 correct? If so then we could make the 12:20PM bus most likely, especially if we skip the pass-buying. I'm just so confused and I don't want to pay online for a ticket if I'm not sure when we will catch a shuttle - if we miss both the 11:50 and 12:20 we'll probably just take the super roundabout way of RER B to RER A. Help!

I have the Magical Shuttle brochure that I picked up in May. For your hotel there are 7 departures from CDG, with 9:15, 10:30, 11:40, 12:20, 14:30, 15:30,and 17:20. You should be ok just getting your ticket at the counter once you have everything in hand after arriving, assuming you might need to go through immigration/customs and picking up your luggage. I wouldn't want to take a chance on a delay and missing the bus you thought you might take. The train is very fast, but we encountered no space to put our luggage. Since you will have a little one with you, I would personally choose the bus.

If I am not mistaken when you buy the ticket it doesn't automatically save you a seat in the bus. It doesn't give you a specific time either that you can use the ticket. It is valid for the day of purchase and for your return trip date if you choose to buy one. So I think it's best to just buy the ticket from their desk in the airport. I believe it's best to be prepared with the timetables of the train and magic shuttle and see what to do based on the time window that you have when you arrive there. Hope everything works for you.

if there are 3 or more of you in your party a shared shuttle transfer, booked in advance with rstransports, will be cheaper, more convenient, and quicker (as its gate-to-hotel service) compared to either the Magic Shuttle or the TGV train from CDG.
