I will be purchasing the memory maker package for the first time and have read where certain photographers will do a magic shot...are there certain photo spots within the parks that offer the magic shots or do all photopass photographers offer them if asked?
Does anyone have any cool magic shots they normally ask for?

I think in general, if a photographer is holding a camera, rather than using a tripod, they can do some sort of magic shot. It's not a hard and fast rule, so some may still tell you no, but it never hurts to ask! I did find that only a couple photographers offered to do them without us asking. We usually let the photographer know we already bought Memory Maker, and they're happy to take a few extra shots for us.

You can google Disney magic shots to see a lot of examples, but we've done a couple different versions of Tinkerbell in our hands, Stitch coming up through the ground, Chip the teacup in a hand, and holding Baby Simba. I've also seen Olaf, balloons, Sebastian, and one where they put fairy wings on you (though that one seems rare).

We asked for a magic shot outside of Animal Kingdom and they put a butterfly on my son's arm. If they were just holding a camera I always asked for a magic shot.

The photographer in Epcot's France does Chip (from Beauty and the Beast) and I was told that's the only location you can get him. Most everyone ca do Tinkerbell and the rest is hit or miss. A photographer pointed in the general area of a photographer who had an Olaf Magic Shot but we couldn't find him. It was around the hub at Magic Kingdom. Always ask whenever you get your photo taken!

During spring break, we had a photopass photographer on the bridge from UK to France. She did the Olaf magic shot and one with stitch.

At AK, on the walkway from Africa to Asia, with the tree of life in the background, we had one with Timon and Pumba.

We asked at each Photopass if they had any 'unique' magic shots. If you just ask for magic shots you may just end up with the standard Tinkerbell over and over. When we used the word unique they tended to give us a wider variety... and some Photographers got very into it, offering us several different ones (some even saying things like well I'm not supposed to do this one in this area but...) we had great fun hunting out magic shots (pre animated shots) and can't wait to go again.

Most photographers tend to be able to do at least one magic shot during the day, when it starts to get dark they tend to just take standard photos.
