OH WOW!! How old are your kids? I only kept a Disney secret once...Star Wars weekends. My husband and I walked in our son's bedroom wearing a storm trooper helmet and Boba Fett helmet and kidnapped him from his bed. So. much. fun. He still talks about it! Can't wait to hear all about your reveal!

Cool! They are 16, 13, 10. They have been begging to go back on a cruise, ever since we stepped off the Fantasy last year. I can't wait to see the look on their faces next Friday!

if this was already asked, but...Is there a "formal" night on this sailing? If so which night would it be? I'm not feeling into dressing up too much this trip and I'm wondering if there is a formal night, can we still eat at our rotation restaurant in nice (but not formal/cocktail) clothes?

This is soooo much FUN!!!! I would love to do this someday!! My daughter is 2 and she keeps asking -is today Mickey's boat day? This will be cruises number 5 & 6 for her. Lucky kid!!

We are surprising our son too. We'll have to tell him on Thursday as we are staying with our friends (who we are traveling with) near the airport. But he won't know his grandparents are coming too until we meet them at airport in Miami. And he won't know about Capt America until we get on board. Thought we'd tell him when Mickey calls but we are open to ideas (he's 5 btw). Would have loved to do FE but didn't want to risk blowing the surprise.

Our friends are cruising as well, my 4 year old DOES NOT know about that. My friends' kids don't know that they are cruising either, so that will be a surprise

I did see those pictures! The ship looks so good! Did you notice the kids in the pictures wearing (what looks like) Magic Bands? Wonder if that's what they will have instead of those awful Mickey bands they've had before? I was super excited over the Marvel room and I'm not even a big superhero fan! The cool scanner to see your special superhero power? Wow!

From what I've heard, the kids do get bands that are like Magic Bands. I've heard that parents are thrilled with that change. I've never sailed with children so I'm not up to snuff on what was once there.

It's getting so close now, super excited.

Wow that will be exciting! We just told our son about a week ago. He doesn't know one of our friends will be sailing with us, so that will be a surprise on Friday. He went on his first cruise on the Disney Dream last year and is looking forward to this one.

We talked about going, but decided against it. We have beaches here at home. We will probably get off for an hour or two, explore the shopping area at the pier, grab a drink and a bite to eat, and head back to the ship. Same with GC. We really enjoy spending time on the ships and since we've been to both ports before, we will mostly stay on the ship this time.

The DIS team did confirm through pictures that the kids do get Magic Bands! Yay!!! So excited!

I've heard good things about that beach, but we decided to do the family beach day in Grand Cayman instead.

It sure is getting close! I started doing laundry today for the trip and the kids went to see Disney on Ice to get in the Disney spirit.

Started packing - 6 days (144 hours) until cruise day!!!! So excited to be sailing from Miami - haven't sailed from there before !!!

I wanted to start packing today but it never happened - hopefully i find some time tomorrow to do so or I may just have a panic attack
