Seems like there are lots of room changes. We were just told today our room changed and also the party we are traveling with. We are not on the FE list, but I sent a private message to those people including us. If there are any changes from those people, please let us know. See everybody tomorrow.

We are finally all packed and ready to go WHOO HOO!!! I am so excited about this trip. DCL called and changed our room from 6507 to 7503. But no worries!! We will still have a good time!

I'm 6'2" 275# (before Palo) dark (sadly thinning) hair and beard. Today I'm wearing a blue and cream club shirt, shorts and sandals.....oh yeah and a big goofy grin.

As of right now only one of the rooms was changed. We are all sailing together and she was moved across from us. Our parents are still on deck 6. We should be on the ship around 12:00. We will message if something changes or we will see everyone at 3:00.

This has been the worst drive to Miami EVER! We can see the ship but we are sitting in horrible traffic. This is 3rd traffic accident/jam/shutdown we've encountered. What was supposed to be a 3 hr drive has turned into 5-1/2!!!!

It was nice to meet all that we met. Sorry to have missed some, perhaps another time! We are in Ft Lauderdale overnight and will fly to Spokane, WA tomorrow and then drive home the next day, weather permitting. We heard there is snow on the pass, but trust the plows will be out and get it all cleared for us.

Sorry we didn't get to meet many of you. We couldn't pull our kids out of the pool to get to the Promenade Lounge.

I have a question for the veteran cruisers--was this cruise typical of the motion you normally experience on the ship? The first couple of days were really smooth and then it felt a bit rough to me. I was just curious if what we experienced was about normal, better than normal, or rougher than normal.

I don't think there is a typical. We sailed across the Atlantic in hurricane season, with one north of us and one south of us, and the seas we were on like glass all the way. We sailed the Eastern Caribbean route second week of Dec (past normal hurricane season) and sailed into tropical storm Olga and came out thru Hurricane Olga! We have sailed western and eastern without any movement aside of the slight movement crossing the gulf stream first and last nights. The Captain tries to go around storms if at all possible, but it the disturbance covers a large area that is sometimes not possible. It's all good in our eyes.
