Any rumor on if/when this might come back. I haven’t heard anything and wondering if others had. Thanks!

I'm waiting for this news myself. I currently have a reservation booked for DLH and an off-site hotel for May. If nothing comes back, then I don't see why I would spend so much more to stay on-site. I'm also (not so patiently) waiting for some discounts to come out...the offers haven't changed for MONTHS and it looks like the current ones have to be booked by March 17, so they surely must be changing soon...right?? :crazy2:

I’ve heard that magic mornings won’t return.
No news on when early entry for resort hotels will return.

I wish that an early entry benefit would return to DL/DCA too.

It seems odd to me that WDW offers an early entry benefit for resort guests, but DL/DCA parks are not following suit. And BTW I don't think the extra 30 minutes is a great benefit, but it is a benefit nonetheless. I've struggled to understand why Disney has made a distinction between WDW and DLR. The reason why I find it odd that WDW offers this benefit and DL/DCA don't, is because I would think that at DLR the competitors hotels are so much closer to the parks that it would be added incentive to book more rooms onsite. But, maybe the costs with opening earlier are so expensive it isn't viable? I just don't know.

Any time Disney wants to drop some good news on me and say that the extra early entry benefit is returning this year is fine by me!

If they simply don’t have enough staff, then I get it. However, if they have the staff and it’s just a cost-saving decision, how much are they really saving? They take in millions of dollars per day in revenue just from admission sales, and then add in all the merchandise and food sales. How much does it really cost to run half of one park for an hour? I know it’s not cheap, but the cost has to be relatively small compared to the revenue for the day. But I guess if they’re willing to take away half of a $22 monte cristo sandwich to reduce costs, then this isn’t surprising.

I think they don’t have enough staff. With rides still being down for nightly maintenance at opening I don’t see it coming back until they have enough ride maintenance staff.

They already can’t keep up many days some rides like BTM, RSR, and Pirates aren’t open 30 minutes to an hour after opening since they are still doing safety checks. If they brought back early entry now most rides that people would want to ride would probably be closed.

This makes a lot of sense to me. No reason to have early entry if they aren't even functioning fully at open right now!

Wow, that SUCKS. What is the logic behind them getting rid of it? That's usually always our favorite day!
It was initially started as a perk to get people to buy tickets online. Almost everyone does that now, so they have no marketing need for it.

As a former hotel guest I will actually be happy. We didn’t even wake up early on DL days because it’s chaos compared to DCA. It made the perk watered down.

WAIT! They took away half of the Monte Cristo???
Of course I knew/have watched the sandwich shrink from a big 2 person sharable to a modest 1 person meal over the years. Its OK now that I don't have to try to overeat just to finish my plate.

I noticed Magic Morning is on the entertainment calendar but I thought this hadn't returned. Can anyone confirm whether or not it has returned? I don't know why it would be on the calendar if it's not happening.
