Does anyone know if everyone in the party needs a hotel ticket to get into DL for magic mornings? My sister, bil & nephews will be in town in Sept & staying at GCA. Wondering if I can go in with them...

Yes, I believe everyone in the party needs a MM pass in order to enter. Besides staying at a DLR hotel, you can also get MM passes by getting at least a 3-day pass. How many days are you planning on joining them for?

They will need to be registered with the hotel, and each registered guest will get a keycard with their name on it, and that is what you show now.

So if adding you stays within occupancy limits it could be done, I believe.

I have an annual pass & will be going for the 5 days there. Does an Annual pass work for MM too?

Thanks for the info. I'll see if she can get me a pass too.

We have stayed onsite with AP's many times. All we had to do is show our hotel receipt in order to get in to MM.

The AP gets you into the park that day; the hotel stay gets you in for MM. No MM if you don't have admission for that day, but the hotel stay is the only way to get MM as an AP holder. :)

And now they have "Your Key to the Magic" instead of that little receipt; you can charge with the keycard and show it for MM. :)

There is no "pass" for MM. No piece of paper to show that grants you MM access. MM access is either:
a) Encoded on your 3+ day park hopper
OR
b) Granted by showing your room key/card that you receive by checking in onsite.

I think we're all trying to say, don't get your hopes up. I think joining your family only one hour later wouldn't be so bad. :confused3

Thanks for clarifying for me. When I said pass, I was refering to the "Your Key to the Magic Card" / hotel key. They are staying in a Suite where the occupancy (per online) is 5. There are 4 of them (though one is my 4 yo nephew and another is my 2 yo nephew who likely won't get a hotel key). I will be there with them at check in & hanging out with them @ the pool & such other days. So likely they can get me a key even though I won't technically be sleeping there.

Since both the parks don't open until 10 am when we are there, the 1 hour would make a difference to me. Sorry for the confusion, but thank you all for being clear on what we need to do this.

Excellent clarification. :thumbsup2

If you are there at check in...... & are included as a room occupant.......then you should be able to enjoy the pool, MM & all other bennies of being a DLR hotel guest.

& I agree.....MM is a GREAT thing to enjoy when the DL general opening is at 10am.

Please let us know how it goes (with you being included for MM & pool priviledges).
