I will be visiting DL in early june and likely staying at the Grand Californian. I have noticed some packages offer 'one' magic morning with the package. I have also read that all on-site resort guests can attend all magic mornings. I am trying to decide between a room-only reservation (cheaper room rate) or a package (which includes one magic morning, preferred seating etc.). I am not interested in the souvenir add-ins but am keen to take advantage of early entry and preferred seating. Would greatly appreciate any clarification of the magic morning rules.

You are right that MM is for anyone who purchases a 3+ day parkhopper. Generally 1 MM comes with that type of hopper. Getawaytoday is offering 2 MM's with their hoppers currently.

All guests of the DLR Properties (DLH, GCH, PPH) are allowed access to MM each morning it is offered during their stay by showing their charge slip from the hotel.

So, if you think you can find a better deal on hoppers elsewhere separately, I say go for it.

Danger speaks the truth!

Only thing I'd add on, and this is just for overall knowledge, is that almost ANY 3 or more day hopper comes with a MM, not just the tickets with a package. ("almost" b/c some convention tickets that are very discounted don't have a MM) It's not just the tickets that come with a package. :)

The park hopper package says you get one Magic Morning. However if you are staying on property you get all of them during your stay, even though they don't specify that on your package details.
