The times guide for MK that includes Oct. 1st is out an the speaker at 9:30 am will be Magic Kingdom's president George Kalogridis. No mention on the times guide of special merchandise or food

You mean I will miss hearing George K. speak if we don't go to the MK that day? Oh my, that makes it a tough decision. Except it's not.

The coolest thing I got out of the 40th anniversary day was the map reprint of when the park opened in 1971. It even had a 1970s font. No Space Mountain.

The first time I went to the MK was July of 1972. I was 10 years old and I'm sure I studied the MK map like crazy back then. I always had a thing for maps. I just love them.

The Shop Parks app had the red "I Was There" shirts a couple of weeks ago. I know I will be there that day, since it is the only non-party night of my trip to see MSEP, so went ahead and got one. Hoping to get a couple of the 45th pins while I'm there.
