i mean theres no reason for it. you announce the date of reservations so of course there will be more traffic. how are you not prepared for that?

Looks like things may be coming back online, able to get through the dining reservation page and to Beak and Barrel, but still crashes there when I look for dates.

the most annoying thing is them evidently making this a "suprise drop" as far as the time. On the one hand I get not announcing a specific time so avoid everyone hitting it all at once, on the other hand of course people were going to assume it was at 6am if there was no other info.

Woke up at 6am, which I NEVER do...figured I'd give it a go. Hei Hei. Hei Hei. Hei Hei. Hei Hei. Hei Hei. Fungus (3-eyed monster). Hei Hei. Hei Hei. Hei Hei. Fungus. And so on. I was doing the phone app and computer at the same time. The computer was easier because when I got Hei Hei I could just refresh - every so often it would actually start searching, rather than Hei Hei, but after a few minutes it would say 'no results found'. On refresh, back to Hei Hei. On the phone app, I had to go back through all the reservation selections again each time I got Hei Hei. By 6:35am or so, it switched to Dante on his back - site down. By 6:40am I gave up and tried to go back to bed for an extra hour of sleep before work.

Tried at the office this morning, and it's been Dante on his back ever since...site still down.

The reservation page loads now but it shows no availability. I have not heard of anyone getting a reservation yet for B&B so assuming they needed to push that off someone to let people manage their day.

Even though I'm not crazy over anything on the menu, I've been sitting here with everyone else since 5:45 am trying to get a reservation because my daughter wants to go.

I hope she appreciates me.

they haven't released the times, the first concern was getting the reservation system actually working again in general. They will probably just drop them randomly to avoid the site getting overloaded again

Not today...will they tell us when? Just check back...they need to get with the program and have a lottery type deal like other sites do when they know they will get blasted with traffic.

Posted this in the Booking The Beak & Barrel on Aug. 14th thread earlier. Launch was moved to next week but no specifics yet.

Another bar?sigh I was hoping it would be a restaurant. I guess I missed that part somehow. Now that I see the menu, I'm okay with passing on it on our upcoming Sept trip. Wasn't planning on do MK this trip anyway, so no temptation to try it, and thankfully I won't have to buy an additional pass. I'm willing to wait until next December to, maybe, give it a try.

I’m with you! I don’t get why this is so attractive to so many. I get that people love to do the newest thing and the ridiculous power of FOMO, but this just seems so mid to me.

Yeah, I understand why some people want to try it. Mostly, because of the theming, but I'm in no hurry. I also had the chance to book GEO-82, but passed because the menu and prices of items I'm just not interested in. Perhaps, someday I'll decide to try them, but I'm in no hurry. TBH, I would rather head over to Jock Lindsey's. Lots of food and drink options that appeal to me.
