Magic Kingdom VQ help

Going to the Magic Kingdom next week and I need help on my park strategy. Usually I'm a rope dropper. BUT...

We will be moving from the Holiday Inn Express at Disney Springs to the Grand Floridian on our Magic Kingdom day. I have to be at the Grand Floridian at 9:15 to pick up my scooter. So we will not be at the park at rope drop. I'm thinking we will be in the park around 10:00 am. My question is how would you pick your lightning lanes at 7:00 am?

Really want Tiana's, but we Really REALLY want Tron. So should we try for Tron first? What happens if we get an early group but we aren't there yet? Should we try for Tiana's first and hope for Tron later?Sounds like Tiana's is harder to get. So if we try to Tiana's first we most likely will get a later group and will have a better chance at Tron later. We are going on Wednesday, Sept 11 so we have the Moonlight hours too. Haven't ridden Tron at night so that would be cool.

What would you do? TIA.

I would suggest trying for Tron at 7AM then Tiana’s at 1:00. If your BG for Tron is expired before you arrive you can try to tap in and see if CM will allow you to ride. (Answer could be yes or no but if not too late, hopefully would be yes.) Based on that you can either try for Tron again at 1:00 if you were unable to ride, or Tiana’s.

The reason for this order is, due to less demand for Tron VQ you are more likely to be called by 1:00, allowing you to try for Tiana’s at 1:00.

There is a higher chance that a 7AM Tiana VQ won’t be called by 1PM which would mean you would not be eligible to try for Tron.

realistically, they're most likely going to let you ride tron at 10:30 if your BG expired at 10, especially since you have a good reason.

i pulled a 1pm VQ for tiana, and your park day shouldn't be too busy, so you should be able to as well.

you can also try for an additional tron VQ at 6PM since you are eligible for extended hours - even if you already got tron and even if you are still holding a VQ. (you can't however try for a 1PM VQ if you are still holding your 7AM VQ.) (and tiana has not been available during EEH.) you may spend like 40 minutes of your EEH waiting for tron so up to you if it's worth time you could be doing a lot of other things.

keep in mind though - you will very likely be to able to purchase LL for tron if your VQ doesn't work out, but you will not likely be able to reserve tiana on LLMP on the day of.

Well that announcement through off my plan! Not that I am complaining.

I was planning on buying Lightning lane plus. Today was my first day to buy. But I don't see Tron as an option.

It is listed right under LL Single Pass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Did you scroll down after you got the the Magic Kingdom Park section?
