We do! You should do it at least once. You are so immersed in Disney with that view. The first day gave me chills. At the same time you are viewing, and hearing the castle, fireworks during the stage show, the sleek monorail and it's sound, a bus, the steam of the train, then the train and it's whistle as it rounds the bend to the MK, etc. Unless you stay in the castle, this is it!
Watching the fireworks from you bed and listening to the wishes music on your tv is special. When we pull back the drapes each morning I realize how lucky we are to own DVC.
Could not agree with you more!! We stayed twice on cash reservations and recently bought at BLT resale because this is the ultimate Disney experience IMO. If your room is high enough you do not even have to close the drapes at night and can enjoy the castle as you drift off to sleep!! Even better is waking up during the night and realizing where you are!!

I agree with the other two posts, however, if you don't have real little kids that will not make it to see the fireworks, my kids and I really enjoy going upstairs to the Top of the World Lounge. You can get a drink, relax and see the fireworks also with the music piped in. It's also a great view from there. You do need BLT to be your home location and be staying on points (last I heard) to be admitted up there. But, doing it this way will still give you the up close feeling without a large crowd with the same view as one of the rooms (without the bed), and you'll get to save points if you don't have alot to begin with.
My family is planning a trip to BLT and was wondering, for those of you who have had it, is the Magic Kingdom view worth the extra points?
Oh and our home resort is OKW, so BLT doesn't have to be your home resort to use this, but you do have to be staying at BLT on points.
For the lounge, if you are staying at BLT on points, but you are a renter, can you enter?
If they know that you're a renter (whether you or the owner you're renting from told them), that perk will be taken away as it's intended for members.
Ok thanks. I will not attempt it. I love my owners that I rent from, and respect their privileges.
I really wish they would change some of the room categories so that anything 5th floor or below isn't magic kingdom view.
BillITA with this.I really wish they would change some of the room categories so that anything 5th floor or below isn't magic kingdom view.
