I haven't been to MK since they started working on the transportation center and heard they moved where they drop and pick up guests and wondering if that is still going on, or they finished with that part of the transportation center and doing other projects in that area? As I heard they also added things to the boat queue area and they're finished with that.

Yes. Still a mess, and the walking distance on that black asphalt is getting to people in the heat, or at least it was last week. The word is that guests may be dealing with this through the Xmas season; the work started in April and was estimated to take 7 months.

The tram loading zone is much further from the TTC gates than it normally is; it is now outside the "underpass" roadway, and opposite the disabled parking lot. It takes up about the first 6 rows of the Aladdin area, but is well back from the outbound tram route; they don't park it near the turn. (You are actually closer to the Poly than the TTC when you leave the tram, but of course, there is a closed fence there.)

When arriving at the TTC, you have to walk forward off the tram, then to your left through the underpass, then left again along a crash wall until you reach Security. I'm guessing, but I think it's around 1/2 mile between the unload and the Security stations.

When leaving, exiting is to the left as you come off the monorail, past the TTC gift shop, under the underpass, then right about 50 yds to board the tram. If you veer right off the monorail out of habit, you'll have to walk double the distance, because from there you have to walk around a second set of crashwalls and then swing back the other way at the underpass. Made that mistake once, and I paid for it in the heat. (The photos below don't show that second wall. It is between the roadway and the original tram loading posts.)

Are they letting people walk on the road under the bridge or are they making everyone use the very narrow sidewalk?

Oh dear! I am thanking my lucky stars I chose the Poly this trip. My knee hurts just looking at the photos.

So, we officially went for the 3rd and that was interesting...

When you first get there it isn't so bad. However, I'm used to sometimes getting there first thing in the morning most of the time, so you basically have to walk yourself anyway. It isn't the worse thing in the world, but we we got there, currently there was a light storm above us, so I would imagine if the blistering hot sun was out, I would have felt different.

However, regardless of how bad, or good the start is, the walk back you can definitely feel it, since you've been walking around, you're tired, you're hot... Whatever you can think of. It feels longer going back.
