Since there seems to be a lot of interest, I am anticipating opening additional groups. I won't open a new one until the first one is filled. If the spot you want is taken, just list it in your post. If a new group opens, I'll put you in the spot.

I wish I have my printer so I could print out the list to pour over. I hate staring at the screen. I like paper.

That is exactly what I did - I printed the list and brought it to work to obsess over properly. I'm all set - I know just what I want and I can't wait for tomorrow night! Just promise not to post signups early - I won't be home until 6:30!

Since this is my first swap on the boards, can you please tell me exactly how the signups work? Is it posted that the swap is open and then we all just send replies through? How do you keep up with who has signed up for what? Let me in on the chaos!

Also, can we only sign up for 2 groups or can we sign up for more. I read the first post and it said initally only 2 groups and then the next day, you can sign up for more if they are open. Am I reading this correctly? And will the next day be Monday at 730EST?

Thanks! Ohh....I have such a great idea that involves a lot of work but I'm ready for it! Now if only I can get that particular spot.....

Oops...forgot to ask. Can you also explain how the "Lands" swap works? It's a little different than the link provided.

I'm reading it as each group has 10 people, you sign up for a land and this swap involves more work than the other swaps with only 6 per group. Am I correct? It looks like Topper and 1 other element. When signing up for a "land" will there be specific things to sign up for? If I sign up for Toontown, will it just have 10 people and they make whatever they want for that land? I need some clarification because I am getting the 2 different swaps mixed up!

I guess I'll have to sleep on this tonight!!

At 730pm EST (as close as I can get to that time), I will post a new thread titled "MK swap sign ups open". It will look pretty much like the opening post in this thread. The first post will be directions, the second post will be the groups. I will be editing and updating that 2nd post to indicate the spots taken. You will need to read backwards through the thread to the last note from me that states -- updated to here. Sounds much more confusing then it actually is. I will fill the spots in the order posted. If the spot you want is not available, you can either pick another spot, or post "if a new group opens, I would like Judge's Tent" something like that. I fully anticipate opening multiple groups.

It will help a lot if you include the group label -- there are a lot of groups!

As for how do I keep up? I don't know!!!! I'll do my best. But I will be slower than the inital requests so you really do have to work your way back through the thread. If you have chosen something already taken, I'll let you know. Make sure you check that I have put you in the groups you requested. You'll see your name in that 2nd post like this

How many groups? You can sign up for the number of groups you can complete. I thought my note might be unclear. If you look at the groups, most of them (but not the DL groups) have a spot that is general. So in Fantasyland group A -- there are 5 attractions and then a spot for general Fantasyland. I would like you to limit yourself to only 2 of those general spots initially. I just didn't want one person to sign up for all or most of the general spots. So after 730pm on Monday -- anyone can take any general spot regardless of how many she already has.


We are a pretty flexible group here. After the sign-ups if you have any questions about the elements or definitons, or if you have ideas other than what was listed, please speak up! We will be happy to answer your questions and listen your ideas.

Nope to your thoughts. I'll start over on this.

Group Z Lands will consist of 8 swappers (assuming it fills). Each swapper will make a topper and one element of their choice from the list that will be posted in the opening thread of sign ups (but is basically the same as that link I provided). So one person will make a topper and element for Fantasyland, one person will make a topper and element for Frontierland etc. through the list. Does this make sense? In the end, if you join the group you will receive a topper plus one element for all of the lands and Magic Kingdom.

The other special group Group Y Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
This will be a group of up to ten people. Each person will make one element from the list that will be posted in the opening thread of sign ups. I am asking that you post the element you want to make and that we try to pick differnt elements since we all will be working on the same topic. I will be making a photomat and journal box. you'll see at sign ups for example
