I'm done!

It was a mad weekend of scrapping for me. I had MLK day off (being a teacher has some great perks) and I spent nearly all of these three days and almost all of last weekend working on my photo mats and library pockets and tags and can now happy announce that I'm done. This was my first attempt at mass production and once I had a system in place, it worked very smoothly. I only made one measurement mistake on the whole bunch.

I spent the other day making 30 embellishments from scratch!! Just trying to work on my topper writing at the moment, I don't have a die cutting system so I have to use my computer.

Most photo mats are made to hold a 4x6 photo, so finished size is 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 to 5 x 7 , depending on how it is done: single mat with border or double matted.

I had a very productive weekend. Not only did I get a whole brag book done for my BIL and his fiance I also got started on this swap. I've finished the journal boxes and the photo mats and am working on the frames. I didn't have a die cut I liked for the frame so I'm having to cut each one individually which is taking time but it will be done soon.

I had a productive time last night and made up all my toppers. Just had a break from swap stuff and finished a Hulk coaster LO (looks SO cool) so my plan for the afternoon is to get on with the journalling boxes.

Snowed in here today so I'm going to work on my borders.

I have everything cut out for my borders so I just need to put them all together. The one I finished turned out better than I thought it would.

Managed to do all my journalling squares so I'm all done!! Just need to work out what's going on with postage payments to send my stuff back to me and then I can get my stuff en route!

No, they don't have to be exactly alike. You can do reverse colors, a combo of colors, have different stickers or stamps, etc.

Hi everyone - I know I'm still a ? (but that's not the same as being questionable!) on my second element. I am in Orlando right now, DM had a quick diagnosis/surgery w/ovarian cancer. DD is with me and we're taking a fun trip today to the MK so I'll be looking for inspiration. We also just need to have a fun day! BTW any requests? I'll be back next week too (her chemo starts) and plan a trip to DTD.

Anyway - the point is I'm still here and not a flake and will be done in time.
