For anyone just back - I was wondering how the railroad station rehab in MK is going?
Has it nearly finished or is it still boarded up?
Has the refurb affected the entrance to MK? I thought I saw photos of the 'tower' on the entrance covered by Green mesh and scaffolding - but can't be sure how recent that was.............. :confused3

The station is coming along on schedule (for a December 20 finish or close to that). The front of the station has been covered, but it is not the green mesh that you saw, that was for the park side of the station. The front has been covered with a Scrim that is a picture of the station as it should be, from a distance it looks like the station is not under rehab, as you get closer you can see that it is a cover.

is the train still running or is it just that one station that's closed.

Train is still running as normal. All the stations are open, it can just become a little bit of a maze to get to the Main Street station due to the changing construction walls. But there are plenty of train CM's stationed around the area to assist...

Only Disney could think of that ! I did wonder how they would get around that as it is such a focal point for photos....and it is good news the trains are still running - thanks for info :wave2:

Just got back and the train station looks fine from the distance. yes, only Disney would think of covering the station with a tarp like thing that looks exactly like the station from a distance. Trains run just fine.

Stroller rental is now to the left when you enter instead of the right, and at the end of the day/night, you are directed to exit to the left.

I think the Tarp with the picture is really funny!! It does look so real from far away. I am glad that most of the green tarps have been removed or replaced.
