We're going to be at the Magic Kingdom on my birthday, July 24. I was fortunate enough to get a reservation at the fireworks dessert party that night. What other meals would you suggest for that day?

Our plans (Mom-49, me-28, DD-2.5)
Arrive for rope drop.
Tour park until around 1:00
Go back to Bonnet Creek to relax
Head back in plenty of time for fireworks.

I don't want to have to make my daughter sit in a fancy restaurant on my birthday. There will be other trips for that. Also, my mother has trouble with the heat, so if we eat at the park, it has to be air conditioned. I'm not opposed to eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner at our resort, but I don't want to do all three. (Probably not even two out of the three if I was being honest.)

Here was my thought: try to get early reservation for a big breakfast, go back to the resort around lunch time and eat lunch at the resort. My only concern is should we eat a big dinner if we're having all of those desserts later?

I appreciate all of your opinions and feedback. Also, since we're not staying on property, we won't have a chance to ride the monorail or water transportation and we're not opposed to that either (just not a long travel distance.)

TIA!
